Typewriter–commissioned for the 2014 New Year’s Eve gala celebration at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
A typewriter confronts attendees as they enter the main gallary, inviting them to enter a line of text describing what they are most excited about in the New Year. The words appear on the walls of the gallery, moving, dancing, interacting and eventually fading away.
An artificial neural network watches the interaction data and words written and generates a musical soundscape accompaniment.
